Treacherous Three

Along with Lamar Hill, Theodore Moye, Kevin Keaton, and Gabriel Jackson, Dewese founded the hip-hop group Treacherous Three in 1978.
Jackson became Spoonie Gee; Dewese became Kool Moe Lee; Hill became LA Sunshine; and Moye became DJ Easy Lee.
The Treacherous Three, consisting of four members, issued their debut single, “New Rap Language,” in 1980.
It was the B-side to Gee’s solo album, “Love Rap.” With “New Rap Language,” the Treacherous Three became successful and signed a record deal with Enjoy Records.
Subsequently, the group released the singles “At the Party,” “Put the Boogie in Your Body,” and “Feel the Heartbeat.”
